Brown and Mason, established in 1961 and based in Dartford, Kent operates throughout Europe as a specialist demolition/dismantling and licensed asbestos removal contractor. The company undertakes all sizes of projects and has proven expertise and competence in all types of demolition, asbestos removal and facade retention works.

We are committed to reducing our impact on the environment and to minimising health & safety risks to our employees and others who may be affected by our undertakings.

We are also committed to operating at all times in compliance with applicable laws.  This includes competition laws where full compliance is assured by us through a robust system of measures.  The Company operates a zero-tolerance policy towards any behaviour likely to infringe such rules.

Our systems and procedures have been developed to comply with the requirements of ISO9001:2008, ISO14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007.

The Company’s Head Office manages all contractual matters, including estimating, tendering and marketing activities together with health, safety, quality assurance, environmental issues, all personnel, wages and training matters together with accounts and purchasing.

The plant, stores and fleet maintenance depot are located in Broadstairs, Kent (Lysander Close).

All our sites include on-site office accommodation with a full time dedicated site manager and a site administrator to maintain contract and personnel documentation. The sites can call on the maintenance facilities at Lysander Close, with our Anson House head office providing administrative assistance. Our sites have welfare facilities for the employees installed as required i.e. toilets, showers, canteens etc.

Competent advice is available to both senior and site management through the safety department.

We are registered and active members of the National Federation of Demolition Contractors and the Asbestos Removal Contractors Association. We are members of the British Safety Council and have twice been the proud recipients of their Five Star Health & Safety Award, Five Star Environmental Management Award and prestigious Sword of Honour.
