You’re never too young for the safety message!

Brown and Mason’s SHE Director, Alex Hadden, visited Cockenzie Primary school to talk to the children about demolition site safety in light of the on-going power station demolition and dismantlement project in their area. The power station is clearly visible from the school (just half a mile to the west along the Firth of Forth) and pupils will be able to see the decommissioning process unfold as Brown and Mason dismantle the station over the next 2 years.

Alex’s presentation follows visits made to the station by children from the school over the years, Brown and Mason being keen to continue local stakeholder inclusion in the decommissioning process and to acknowledge the local community’s long-standing involvement with the station.
