Toppling The Turbine Hall at Tilbury
This morning at 10:00am sharp, Brown & Mason successfully completed another explosive demolition at Tilbury Power Station, Essex.
The work on site is progressing at a strong rate, with today’s event adding the south end of the turbine hall to the list of successes.
As with all our explosive events, stringent planning & precautions were in place to ensure the structure could be brought down with utmost regard to safety. A manned exclusion zone was firmly established & enforced in the build up to the explosion and in the aftermath, ensuring the well-being of all those in proximity of the demolition.
